Publish Update
In July, I mentioned that one of my images of Downtown Orlando had been selected to be back cover of a report for Orange County [link], I received the report, and the images they used look great. I was also able to find a copy online, here is the link to it. My images are on Pages: 128, 129 and the back cover (page 184).
Here’s the link to the file [Link].

No Camera

I’m spending this week with one of the best wedding photographers in the business, David Ziser [Link], and after I arrived at the hotel, decided to take a short ride into Cincinnati. As I drove north on Interstate 75 and approached the city, I was amazed by the incredible view. But there was one problem; I left my camera in the hotel room. So here I was with a chance to capture some incredible images of downtown Cincinnati, and all I had with me was my trusted Blackberry, so, enjoy this picture I took with my Blackberry, I will get down there again this week and get some great images.
Scott Kelby’s Photo Walk
For the second year, Photoshop expert Scott Kelby [Link] has organized a worldwide photo walk. This year’s photo walk mobilized over 30,000 photographers in over 900 locations around the world and I was lucky enough to attend Scott’s personal walk in Ybor City. Here are a couple of the pictures I took at the event. If you want to see me in action taking some of these pictures, check out this page [Link].
This image is of a bar in Ybor City and while the windows on the second floor look like they are reflecting the sun, the windows and the roof on the builidng are missing and your seeing the sky through the windows and roof.

The next image is of the Italian Club:

The next image below is of a portion of the historic Columbia Restaurant.

Photo Selected for Publication

This is one of my favorite photos, it’s of Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. I took this picture back in March during a dull sunset and as I was standing there dreaming of the rich colorful sunsets of summer, the light hit the building in just the right way and I was able to get wonderful warm colors on the buildings and reflecting off of the lake.
So, I was very pleased to learn last week that this photo was selected to be used on the cover of a research report that has been commissioned by Orange County Mayor Richard T. Crotty and the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission to promote Central Florida. The report should be completed and published in the next couple of months, and I can’t wait to see the image on the cover.
