Photo’s from the Omni ChampionsGate
Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot Lauren and Nick at the Omni ChampionsGate Resort [Omni Orlando Wedding Location] located just south of Orlando.
This place is an incredible place for a wedding. There’s an number of incredible ballrooms for the perfect reception. One of the second floor ballrooms has a fantastic view and balcony of the golf course, while the downstairs ballrooms are adjacent to an awesome garden area.
The first two images were taken in the hallway downstairs, just outside the ballrooms.
This image was taken in the area just outside the main lobby. It’s one of my favorite places at this location because of all of the cool features. On this picture, I like how the sun’s ray goes right to the couple.

Just to the south of Orlando and past Walt Disney World is an incredible resort perfect for a wedding ceremony and reception. The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate features elegant ballrooms perfect for a reception of any size and lush tropical outdoor grassy area overlooking the golf course in the shadow of this awesome hotel.
The outdoor grassy area is also the perfect place for an outdoor wedding reception.
If you are interested in a Trash the Dress photo session [Link] the day after your wedding, the lazy river and pool area at the Omni makes the perfect back drop.
Also, remember that Saturday’s are typically very popular wedding days for a resort like this, so if you have flexibility in your schedule be sure to ask them what their rates would be on Friday or Sunday [Link].

Woman’s Club of Winter Park

Looking for an elegant location for your wedding reception? Then you should consider the Woman’s Club of Winter Park. The building dates back to 1921 and it listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hall can seat 120 people and its stage makes a perfect place for your DJ.

I have always been blown away by the magnificance of this church. It’s Winter Park location is an awsome place for wedding, I’m looking forward to the day I can shoot a wedding here!
The history of this beautiful church in Winter Park, Florida dates back to 1886 when Orlando received it’s first resident catholic priest. It’s hard to believe that Orlando was just a small city back in those days.
There have been many additions to the parish since it purchased it’s land in 1924. The current church was built in 1969.
If your at the The Collection make sure you take a few minutes and walking into this awesome location!

Are you looking for a great place to hold an outdoor wedding? Check out Henry P Leu Gardens!
This is a fantastic location for an outdoor wedding. The Garden which is located near downtown Orlando offers two wedding packages, a Small Outdoor Package and a Standard Outdoor Package.
Small Outdoor Wedding
The Small Outdoor Wedding Package is designed for small groups (under 25 people, including the bride, groom, minister, photographer, and everyone else). Couples have four locations on the property to choose from for their weddings: The South Woods Gazebo, The Trellis, the White Garden and the Courtyard Gazebo.
The fee for the Small Outdoor Wedding Package is $250 and the weddings are permitted to last 1 hour, photographs are allowed for 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony.
The garden reserves the following times for this wedding package: 9:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:30 pm.
Standard Wedding
The Standard Outdoor Wedding Package is for wedding of 25 people to 180. There are 4 locations in the garden available for the Standard Wedding Package, this includes the Rose Garden, the Leu House Museum Front Lawn, the Floral Clock and The Landing.
The fee for the Standard Outdoor Wedding Package is $750 and the wedding rentals are scheduled for 2 hours. Ceremony times are 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. The rental time begins 1 hour before the ceremony.
Leu Garden Reception
If you are interested in having your reception at Leu Garden, the fee is based on the room you choose. The Rose Room, holds up to 25 guest and the rate is $300. The Orchid Room holds up to 45 guest and the rate is also $300. The Carmellia Room and veranda can be used for up to 180 guest and the rate is $750.
These rooms are available for 4 hours and are available during specific time slots:
11:00 am – 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm – 9:00pm, or 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
Insurance
The City of Orlando which operates Leu Garden’s requires that all weddings provide a certificate of insurance. The Insurance is available directly from Leu Gardens and the fee is based on the number of attendees. Check their websites for their current links.
